Thimbleberry Glaze Recipe

Serving Size:
1 – 2 cups
Time:
10 Minutes
Difficulty:
Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup thimbleberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine thimbleberries, sugar and water, stir.
  2. Bring to a boil for a few minutes.
  3. Add water according to the thickness you desire.
  4. You can blend or puree your berries if you like to make a smoother glaze. We just dumped ours in the pan. It is fairly thick, more like a jam but that was our preference.
  5. Enjoy!

This thimbleberry glaze is a great topping for scones, pancakes, waffles, toast or anything that needs a little sweetness!
