
Thimbleberry Glaze Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup thimbleberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Directions
- In a saucepan, combine thimbleberries, sugar and water, stir.
- Bring to a boil for a few minutes.
- Add water according to the thickness you desire.
- You can blend or puree your berries if you like to make a smoother glaze. We just dumped ours in the pan. It is fairly thick, more like a jam but that was our preference.
- Enjoy!
This thimbleberry glaze is a great topping for scones, pancakes, waffles, toast or anything that needs a little sweetness!
